Gabriel's first christmas was priceless! We did gifts with Hubby's parents first and he got lots of goodies

I know i know, it been almosta month since i last blogged! bad me! BUT i have a legitimate excuse. I actually we have all been sick! like went to bed died and then somehow woke up the next day feeling worse sick! the boys too!
not to mention new years!
HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!! by the way!
oh and did i mention i had the craziest idea that catering my own DOUBLE birthday party would somehow be easier (read: cheaper) than just going somewhere and having someone else do it all for us?!
Well said party is this saturday. Meaning I have ALOT of cooking to do, we are expected to get hit with at least 12 inches of snow tonight, which means all my errand will now be pushed to Thursday which I'm working ! ugh its been a crazy mess and ioh yeah we leave for costa rica the following weekend and i have yet to pack for all of us!

Cooking help

I'm not sure if i mentioned it before but after i had Gabriel i was in a fog to say the least, and once i went back to "work" its been hard to pin down a routine that will work for our family. With karate lessons, CCD, gymboree and general errands being run not to mention the winter motnths ahead, well you can say that meals have gone the wayside. Our menu was becoming more and more take-out/ sandwhices than the new dishes i would find in magazines or on shows and was willing to try out.
Now that G is walking forget it kitchen and mealtime were a mess.

enter Pocket full of posies, their system for mealtimes have helped me out so much that i don't need to figure out what meal to make each day. i take a couple of hours on sunday to do the shopping and plan my menu and that is it. they provide you with the recipes and the ingredients you nee. they make it way easy to plan dinner.
